A lecture given by Nehemiah Gordon concerning the fact that Yeshua (YAHU’SHUA) was a Hebrew and not a Greek. Not only that… but the ‘New Testament’ that we have today is not even a true representation of the true teachings of YAHU’SHUA. Matthew made a very interesting statement near the beginning of his Gospel. Referring to Yeshua, he wrote, “And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene” (Matthew 2:23).
Two questions immediately come to mind in reading that verse from Matthew’s account of the Gospel.
1. To which prophets was Matthew referring?
