Thank you for posting the Hebrew Matthew! It confirms the truth that Jesus Christ was begotten at baptism, not conception and that much of the story of Jesus has been embellished with pagan beliefs such as a virgin birth. Why? Perhaps it began with Constantine (or even Paul in his efforts to convert Egyptians) attempting to win hearts and minds for a new religion? I believe such embellishment serves to elicit skewed belief systems and promote doubt, distracting the world from the truth.

Does anyone have a concordance to Hebrew Matthew. It would be interesting to put a version out with the Hebrew Strong's numbers right in the text. Also, the Genelogy of Jesus in the Aramaic Peshitta reveals that Mary may have had a father with the same name of Joseph. This explains the possible discrepancy in the Greek texts. Does the Hebrew version support this?

Anyone have any thoughts on the above.

Shalom
